In Memory
George Schwartz 1946 - 2021
It is with a heavy heart we say goodbye to our dear friend and racing buddy Geroge Schwartz who passed away in Feb 2021.
George was one of the original members and founders of the Puget Sound Corvette Club, and our current Vice President. George was very active in the Corvette Community for many years including memberships not only in the Puget Sound Corvette Club, but also memberships in the Classical Glass Corvette Club and Corvettes De Olympia.
George was also the heartbeat of our local Corvette Autocrossing events out at the Shelton Airport. He loved setting up the courses and was always one of the first to be out at the track on event days getting everything set up.
George was very active in local Corvette shows, and taught many of us how to properly judge cars in Show n Shine and Concours De Elegance events. He always had beautiful cars in these events and was someone you could have a fun conversation with at anytime. George was a paitient teacher and just an all around great human being and will be missed dearly.
Until we race again my friend, keep a spot warm for us on the tracks in heaven.

Come to THE Corvette Show of the Year!
Hello Everyone –
We are so excited to be reaching out to you, and announcing our 2021 Corvettes on the Columbia Event Dates……SEPTEMBER 10 & 11 !!
Come September, It will have been 27 months since we all Celebrated Corvettes together, and made Wishes come true for 20 Children throughout the Washington fighting through life-threatening illnesses. It now be said, we’ve all been fighting/protecting and doing our best to get through this Covid-mess. It has been a rough journey at times through all this, and we hope this letter finds you safe and healthy.
WE HAVE MISSED YOU ALL, MISSED THE FUN AND EXCITEMENT – AND WE ARE READY TO HAVE YOU BACK, FAST & HAPPY!
Hot Topics –
- If you had Reservations at the Pasco Red Lion – Call in right away and re-book it. When I signed the new Event Contract with the New Dates – it wiped out all that were in the System. Gotta love Computers!
- Registration is attached to this Email – and the Event Itinerary will follow shortly as soon as we fill in more new stuff for you to enjoy! Stay Tuned for the Itinerary. Bundles will be mailed out to Corvette Club Addresses so please watch for them in the next week or so.
- Entertainment will be tremendous……..Eagles Tribute Band is Re-Booked for Friday Night, and we are super excited to have signed a tremendous Party Band from California “The Fabulous Pelicans” for Saturday Night.
- Obviously, we will be very aware of what-ever protocols are still remaining come September – and will have them in place. Hotels and Event Centers throughout the Northwest are booking up the remaining months of the year beginning in September, so they are getting the same information we are getting from officials about the positive position we anticipate being in 7 months from now. YEAH!
- For those of you that PUSHED your registration to 2021 – you are in, and Janna Stevens has that List should you feel the need to confirm.
- For those that DONATED their 2020 registration to Make-A-Wish, THANK YOU SO MUCH. That collective figure will be added to the 2021 Check Total on Saturday Night 9/11.
Please spread the news to all your Corvette Friends and Family that Corvettes on the Columbia is on for 2021 – and we promise to give you a great September weekend!
We truly hope to see it be the Biggest Attended Event we have ever had ….. and our Committee is going to work hard to make it the Best ever.

NWACC Autocross Events
About NWACC Autocross
NWACC Autocross events are a fun activity done multiple times during the summer season. You do not have to be an expert or a “race car” driver to participate in these events. These are single car timed events with multiple classes to compete in. Only one car is allowed on the course at a time. Your competition is the clock.
Competition classes include everything from novice (bring your car out and run) to full on race prepare vehicles. This is a great way to learn how your car handles in performance situations. Fun is had by all.
These events are open to all performance cars not just Corvettes. So if you want to see how your BMW or Viper compares to the performance of a Corvette - bring it on out.

There will be 5 NWACC Autocross events this year. All events will be held at the Shelton Airport at Sanderson Field - 21W Sanderson Way
